Wowee - we've been to Wales & back...what a week!
This week bought a few cross-cultural teething issues - check out my salt & pepper situation on the 10th. I was laughing too hard to take a picture of the mini-bread that arrived suffice to say it's been removed from the "frequent purchase" list.
We're slowly settling into this crazy little thing called life - Scott's studying like a mad man, I'm trying to keep the house ticking over (truth be told...not my strongest suit). It's a dance we're still learning the steps too.
This weekend we managed to escape for a few days to Northern Wales - you have to see the natural beauty of this country to believe it, but it was the people who made the place. The most genuine, salt of the earth folk you will ever come across. I believe, hand on heart, they would have given me the shirt of their back had I asked.
More on Wales soon - but enjoy some of the snaps from 11th - 14th.

PS - It's not your eyes - I've had to start uploading smaller images so the quality is somewhat compromised. Cut a sister some slack. I beg you.

Very seductive that English countryside, eh? and as for why blackberries are so abundant - they are native to England. They like it there and not many people spray them with roundup like at home. Heh.
