A HUNTING WE WILL GO

Have I ever mentioned that I'm half British?

My mother (darling dearest, most wonderful mother) hails from the Isle of Wight and raised her children on a healthy diet of tea, etiquette and an appreciation of Patrick Stuart that borders on the obscene.

As a result I felt fairly well prepared to navigate the various eccentricities that make up this grand country, yet she still manages to surprise.

Over the past couple of weeks I've seen a country reborn. Spring has taken an environment ravaged by the extremities of winter and nursed it back to health with bandages of luscious green, blossoms of delicate pink and fields of vivid yellow.

I've been waiting for a break in the weather to get out and snap some pics of one particular spectacle currently blanketing the Bedforshire countryside. Today I got my wish.

Here's a few snaps of the chunky monkey frolicking in the canola fields - aren't they something?

With love

Jacq

    1. Thanks Jodie, I totally agree - particularly with the 'at times' sentiments. This said I take my hat off to this place, these fields are one out of the box x
