May 5th 2014 was a big day for the Cullen clan - my younger brother celebrated both his 24th birthday and his graduation from Auckland University. While birthday's roll around with alarming regularity, James has overcome a number of personal obstacles to achieve his Bachelor's degree and we're all proud as punch!
Our day started early.
Catching the 8:30am ferry from Devonport sounded achievable after a few wines the night before, yet running down the concourse towards the ferry at 8:27am towing our 92 year old grandmother it seemed anything but. Yet we made it and so began a day filled with adventure, laughter and tea. Lots of tea…
Check out the kids sweet clothes. They lasted until I had to feed them. I held off as long as I could but the nippers were persistent.
Doesn't James look dapper in his ge-owns. Lad owns a baby pink hood.
So congratulations from all the family little bro - I'm always inspired by your persistence in the face of life's obstacles.
Lots of love
