CELEBRATING SMALL WINS

Monday, June 4, 2012

Today I was proud of myself for two things:

Thing One - Of the 1,286 kilometers we travelled this weekend I only wanted to throttle my son for 3 hours of the whole journey;
Thing Two - On arrival home I completely unpacked, as opposed to my usual dump, run & ignore approach

As small as they may seem these two things together are my equivalent of winning an Olympic Gold in the hurdles...as such, I thought I would share.

More from me soon about those 1,286 k's but in the meantime, wherever you are in the world I hope you've had a smashing weekend (particularly you Queenie - 60 years...way to rule an Empire)

Here's a snap from our pilgrimage up the island today - Mount Ruapehu in all her glory.

Enjoy
