THE CROWD GOES WILD

What a day. Wow. I've never been so proud to be a New Zealander.

We headed city-side at 9am and left at 5:45pm. What happened in between was part patriotism, part madness, part awesome. It started with a 4 hour stakeout of our front row pose on Queen Street. Will wasn't too thrilled with this part, that said I wasn't too thrilled with his behaviour. IT WAS THE RUGBY WORLD CUP SON, SUCK IT UP. Our wait was well rewarded. Oh the pagentry - I love me a good parade. This said it was also the greatest fail of the day. Precisely two seconds after the first car came into sight my camera battery failed. Luckily not before a lovely Officer snapped a family picture for the album. Once the fanfare had passed (and I had shared a personal moment with Sir Graham Henry...I'm confident he thinks I'm a staker remembers) we headed over to the Domain for the Fonterra Kiwi Day Out, arriving just in time to catch Evermore & Avalanche City.

Yes I love, love, loved the day...excuse the pun.

Anyway - here's my fav pic from today. Those of you waiting for a Will update picture can finally rest in peace.
